Hi Guys/Girls,
About to put a deposit down for M3 Xdrive Comp (sedan). I am in Melbourne, Vic. Just wondering if anyone managed to get any reasonable discount on the new builds (don't mind waiting). Would really appreciate any info. If you are uncomfortable with posting this info on the public forum, please pm. thanks heaps Vladt |

Prices may vary from each dealer depending on bmw support money, whether they hit target or not, mood of the sales manager in approving deals, and a plethora of other things. I got mine for a pretty good deal. 197150 for tanzanite blue Fiona red with carbon buckets, CCBs and extended 5 year servicing plan.

Sounds like you got about 10k off rrp? Btw, any chance you could post pics of the Fiona Red carbon buckets? I am thinking of Grigio Telesto Pearl Metallic (davit grey?) with fiona red buckets. cheers Vlad |

I haven't got the car yet. It is due for production in 2 weeks time. Dravit grey is an excellent choice. Goes well with almost any interior colour! |

I think if you can get a bog standard M3 Comp xDrive for under $180k (~10%) then it is a pretty good deal in VIC these days. How much are they quoting you?
I'm trying for harder and think I'm about to achieve it! In which case, I'll have an order down in the next day or so with an expected delivery date of June 2023 (but I'm hoping for closer to April). Perhaps HiFi might be able to help you out! |

Have you considered any other cars apart from M3? |

I haven't tried negotiating yet.
Want to be "armed" with the real deal info from other members here before I visit my local dealer. Would really appreciate if you could PM me once you've signed up. May be I can get mine from the same source? What specs are you ordering? Quote:

Yes i also considered the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifologio. That car is great in handling and nimbleness, and sounds better than the s58. However the x-drive of the G80 M3 and better tuneability of the s58 won me over. |

180K would have been achievable in NSW prior to the April price rise. I got mine for 197150 just prior to the April price rise and thankfully they are not increasing the remaining balance in my contract as the price we negotiated on was locked in

Reliability would be quite mute with the 5 year warranty that Alfa has. The dealer that I went to enquire about the Alfa also had factory warranty for tuned vehicles as well (with cars running custom downpipes and e85 tunes!). Insane!
