Milltek sport exhaust from tunermotorsport

I was looking exhaust from my G82 and came across milltek from tunermotorsport.com, the price is half cheaper from other websites. Anyone have any experience buy from that website?

It’s event cheaper than buy directly from milltek. But thank everyone, I just want to make sure if the price accurate.

I just returned a sports downpipe from them, the quality was shocking. I got a message back from them saying “oh yeah it’s not great that welding, but don’t worry it will be ok” I just sent it back.

They used to be really good, but I think they have been bought over, I might be wrong, but something has changed.

Buy with caution.

What brand is this downpipe?

That looks like the most restrictive exhaust flow possible with the valves closed.
I’d pass.

I have bought multiple brands of down pipes, mid pipes and axle backs via Mike @ Xtreme Power House. He has a G8X personally and offers great info/feedback. I would DM him for a quote on what ever you decide on. Miltek wouldn't be my first choice honestly.
MAD ( https://mad-exhaust.com/ ) is active on here and is a quality part at reasonable money. Lots of YT video reviews too. Check out North Raleigh Performance on YT for lots of G8X videos of all brands.

Hope this helps

Agree to disagree. The stock M at least makes an attempt to angle the inlet and then exit straight out the muffler.
It doesn’t exit sideways into the same pipe it left.
And if you look into the M muffler. It’s 99% hollow. I would love to see one open. There may be one baffle in the closed side.

Agree, it's not a good design. I want the smoothest possible transition for maximum airflow.

The valves open up almost fully at full throttle anyway so not sure why flow matters to you that much with the valves closed.

Most exhausts are going to be more restrictive with the valves closed. Smaller piping diameters sharp angles are never good. You can't really see what's going on in the muffler though so it may or may not be as bad as it looks.

The stock exhaust has a series of walled baffles and some fairly small piping where it enters. At Wot the valves will always open so I guess they figure it doesn't matter.

I always care about flow. I know it may not matter cruising on the highway. But it's an OCD thing for me. I couldn't put that on my car and not be thinking they could have done better.

The engineering mind won't allow it!

The flow in the stock muffler takes a bunch of 90 degree turns, its simply impossible to have smooth flow with the valves closed.

The picture posted was for the downpipes; many companies have higher-flow pipes with smoother transitions.
