Ind carbon seat bolster covers worth it?

Those that have them, do u think they are worth it and do the job? I think I read somewhere that they also rub off which is counter to what they are meant for. Figured I would ask before getting them

I’ve had mine for 2 months now and they seem fine. I only order one set just to protect the outter bolsters for now. I have Silverstone and you can see color is close but not perfect. I’m not in love with how they look honestly. I’d say if you daily the car they may be worth it, but if it’s a weekend toy you can probably do without.

I've had mine for the outer bolsters. One thing to keep in mind, do not put them on too tight and make sure to align the stitching of the seats and the protectors. If not aligned, the stitching of the protector will leave a bit of a mark on the bolster itself. Also, over time as you get in, the rubbing of your thigh with the protector will unalign the stitchings, so make sure to readjust them from time to time.

My car is not my daily driver, so when I'm done driving I take them off and put them on before getting in for a drive.

I’d skip them. Look bad in my opinion.

I’ve just resigned myself to the fact that my driver side outer bolster is going to look worn. After 3.5 months of DD, I can confirm it looks used. If I were to go back I’d put something on right out of the gate, but thinks my hopefully forever car so not super worried about resale rn.

They just look so goofy to me... But I also daily my car, so by nature, shits gonna get worn out sooner or later. These are mass produced cars at the end of the day. I have to remind myself of that anytime I notice any tiny imperfections...

Good video getting in and out without rubbing the side bolster. Only problem for me. I'm not as strong as this guy. It's tough on my left arm. But worth it. Getting the IND covers anyway.

I have the black carbon buckets and bought the covers, but the seat stitching is white and the cover stitching is black. Not ideal but I bought them anyway.

Has anyone had these covers restitched? Guessing it could be done but not sure it's worth the cost.
