Black Leather

Really the only thing I haven't been able to decide on.

Now that the dash is Sensatec, is it worth it getting the Full on a black interior?

Will I notice the difference?

Personally, if choosing the black interior I'd just stick with Extended.

The Sensatec dash has "stitching" on it, but top of the doors will not.

Not sure what the diff between Sensatec vs Full would be, but previously the interior felt quite a bit more premium with Full.

Spending close to $85-90k already, the extra $230-$2800 was worth it.

If you are getting the new M3 with ID8 I'd skip the full leather as the screen covers the whole dash anyway and the old stitching on the binnacle is gone.

Yes, it's a 2023 with iD8. Went ahead and selected full. At the end of the day it's not much extra on my build.

Never really understood this line of thinking. The only relevancy of interior color when it comes to full leather would be the lower dash (splash of color on other color interiors). Is that the main allure? Otherwise, interior color aside, you get exact same for everything else (other than color of the stitching in some cases) - the dash is still black, the door panels are still black, etc. but with full leather you get the better material/stitching. To me, the full leather is just as appreciated and apparent in black vs. other interior colors other than the lower dash obviously. Just my thoughts. Can you tell I went with black full leather on my order?

I decided last minute to go with full leather on my pending 2023 M3 as well since I went with Fiona red. It's a more noticeable difference compared to the Extended leather of course since the bottom half of the dash is red also, that and all the stitching on the dash & doors is red (not sure about the stitching on the sides of the center console).

When going full leather with the black interior, the only thing that really stands out is the white stitching on top of the doors & sides of the center console.

In the end, you go with what you want. I felt though it was nice that for MY2023 BMW went with a Sensatec dash (with stitching) on just the Extended leather when opting for the Executive pkg.
