EDIT: On the phone he confirmed with me that I would not need to get a new allocation or production number, and that so far there are no planned changes that he knows of for MY23.

I suspect this whole process is in constant flux. The only thing to do is to be patient. I have had a production number for 4 months and still don't have any idea when the car will be built, so what's a few more weeks?

Great point. They are building them as supplies become available so even little things like trim options can make build dates vary. Best to not to induce anxiety by trying to figure out what's going on and enjoy the excitement of a new car coming.

Its my own fault, but I got a great offer for my car and sold it in October when I ordered my car thinking I was going to have my M3 sometime late February. If I had known 6 months later I'd be in order received with no way of knowing when I'd get a car, I would have held onto it. But now that I'm in this situation, getting repeatedly bumped with no information has ruined what should have been a fun exciting experience.

I hear all the bush back I feel my car went through the build very quick in 2 weeks. Almost felt like it stayed in quality check for few hours like the guy who did it might not have done a good job

I am sorry man, I can't even imagine. Honestly I would be inclined to just cancelling, but then the other side of me which really wants the car would stop me. Such a dilemma.

Correct. I was given an order reference a few days after the order was submitted. Awaiting clarification from BMW Uk on my my vehicle keeps getting delayed vs others being placed and delivered this year. I won’t hold my breath though.

Does anyone know yet what our carrier would be? I would be taking delivery PDC, I am guessing SC east coast. So if I land a final build on the week or days the ship is at port, I have a better chance of getting on that ship than waiting for it to voyage and come back?

Nice! Mine moved to in the paint booth yesterday afternoon also! I am in the week 18 thread as that was what I was told by BMW but there seems to be some confusion as to if I am week 17 or 18 but either way I'm excited about the progress of the car!
