Got a vin# today and “production begins” status. Ordered in December…..allocation on Feb 2. M3 Comp XdRIVE with Individual paint/Carbon Buckets. Been smooth sailing for me.

As a fellow Houstonian who is in love with Atlantis, I have to see this in person once you get it! Congrats on getting the build started too. I've been rescheduled 3 times so far and currently in week 19 (not holding my breath lol) so hopefully I won't be too far behind you.

I thought you could still change your build at 112 but not at 150? I added some things when mine was at 112.

You are correct, your build doesn’t lock until 150

Wow sorry to hear. I am most likely in the same position, though I haven't heard anything. Last week I added ceramic brakes to my G80 MT build and immediately was changed to status 105. I was 112/week 19 after a few bumps from my original week 8 build off a December allocation. I have been 112 3 times and bumped.

This is the first time I have heard that the manual trans is causing delays though. I would be stunned if they discontinue it for MY23, but that would be a deal breaker for me.

Congrats on the VINs! No VIN for me yet, but at least I'm still in scheduled for production status.

SM0KESTR0NG, that color combo is going to be incredible. I was trying to get Atlantis but couldn't make any changes to the order I took over since the full Fjord Blue interior flags it as individual (I guess they send the car over to the individual department for full leather interiors?). If there's a TX meetup, I need to see it in person

Well it looks like its confirmed I will be bumped to a MY23. My CA forwarded me an email from BMW NA. I took out some of the identifying info just in case...

NJ said this unit in 105 will be flipped to a MY23 model in a few weeks, they should do that, if not NJ will let us know as it gets closer to the MY23 release date so we can make the change to a MY23 . Just watch it.

Unfortunately, the build will have to be a MY23 model, there are no more slots for the MY22 builds in this model.

EDIT: On the phone he confirmed with me that I would not need to get a new allocation or production number, and that so far there are no planned changes that he knows of for MY23.

At first I assumed it could be too early for them to know, but she said "in a few weeks" and I'd think they'd give dealers a heads up. Who knows?

Sorry to hear about the delay. But just because they don't know of any updates does not mean there won't be any. CA's will find out the same time as everyone else.

His car is a MT, so I assume they already know they won't have any new units available by the time MY22 ends so it sounds like they're pushing any MT car over to MY23 (my guess anyway).

Not sure what that means for the rest of us ZF8 people who keep slipping weeks (God only knows what else they're short on at the moment). But let's hope they can at least still get some of us out under MY22.

Ditto, non-individual M3cx with carbon buckets, I was told yesterday that I've been pushed to MY23. I was 112 for week 17 up until last Wednesday, when I reverted to 105 and where my build has stayed since. My CA said he suspects I should get a new MY23 build week assigned in the next few weeks, with the expectation that my build will stay in status 105 until those build weeks are released/Announced.

What color did you go with?

Opted for a standard color (Skyscraper) in an attempt to not drag out the build process and that obviously didn't go to plan
