FYI- My Allocation confirmed, production number allotted

I have submitted my Order. The production date is for March, so I am thinking delivery date sometime at the end of April or May. The only addition I have added was the 50th anniversary M badges. I hope it wouldn't clash too much.

I'm in the same production time as you. Trying to figure out if I want to keep the 50th badges or not

I had the same contemplation, but I end up going with the anniversary badges as it does add nostalgia and makes it a bit more unique than the rest of the year cars.

My major issue is either getting 826M in gray or blk wheels. My concern is in lower lighting conditions or cloudy days, it will not show well. I have satin blk wheels on my GT4 and at night time or cloudy days they just get lost.

i don't mind the badges on the car for the reasons you're saying but not sure how they'll look on the wheels if you go with the black 826. I did go with the black 826 rims and i think it'll show pretty good since the car is red. originally i was going to go with tanzanite blue but changed my mind for how it would look in low light with black 826's.

My Aventurine M4 convertible has been at status 182 (awaiting carrier assignment) since January 14th. East coast delivery should put it around mid to end of March delivery. Not in any rush to get the car as I plan on this one being a stablemate to my Range Rovers and Corvette for a very long time.

Congrats my G83 should be coming over with yours to the East Coast the same time. What spec and interior color did you end up going with your build??

Tartufo interior. My dealer had an 8 series convertible on the showroom with Aventurine and Tartufo. Loved the look. That finalized my decision. I ordered the carbon interior trim, the carbon exterior package, the 826 all black rims, the shadow-line trim, the laser lights, and the ventilated seats. How is yours spec'd?

I really dont care for the carbon exterior stuff as I can get good aftermarket crap LOL. Nor do i want the radar driving shit thing which I do have instead of the parking (drive ass pro). I think the carbon interior pack is nice but my AR car has the piano trim which in reality- works great. I dont touch my car like a pervert all over ahahahha.

But out of all my 12 M's; I have never ordered one.

So, you would still pick Black over the Aventurine Red?

He asked what I would build if I got another car--- I would build a frozen black not regular black. If I never had AR I dont know what my choice would be but it might be AR.

I would not rebuild an AR car since I have it now; if that makes sense.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I do have BMW OEM spinner center caps from my BMW M2, that I can put on. I am so torn on the colors, I see Vic55 rims and they look amazing and my heart tells me to go with blk wheels, then I see https://inf.news/en/auto/45b257bbf91...87e80e9de.html

Those are bi-color 826M. I prefer the black 826M, but the bi-color are nice too. I just can't stand the 825M.

Hey Vic55 (or anyone else) did you consider to cover this beautiful ///M3 using XPEL STEALTH (or smth similar) to upgrade color to frozen aventurine red?

I love AD and (most likely) I’ll order my M3CX on it and for sure will put full-body XPEL, so I thought: why not to use STEALTH version!?

Not a chance...

I love the oem color as it changes in the light and I dont want a matte non oem job. I know it works for some colors and cars but not for my car and not for this color.

Also I had an OEM F90 which was were very close to this car in frozen paint:

Roger that! I’m going to take a look at AD on a different BMW to get this vibe when the light changes, so there’s is a chance I’ll stick to the oem too

But… this frozen red on your F90 looks stunning!

alright so now that i have my G80 in status 111 I am getting cold feet a little. Vic55 have you ever regretted having AR? I am still going back and forth between TBII and ARII. Does ARII ever look purple like a true burgundy color or does it always look red even in the shade?

Here are some shade shots- the beauty of this color and others is the ability to change. If you are already over it, then get TB. Thats a nice color but its not for me.
