Happy to see wk 16 updates! I am still on status 112 (lol), so definitely not wk 16 or 17 at this point. Called BMW Genius today, they said I should be wk 17 still, but they also said the wk number is the start date and not production end date, which we know isn't correct. So, I am hoping to call back and get another rep on the line to get a proper answer.

Damn that’s a bummer, hopefully it goes into production the next few days? Sounds like genius hasn’t been helpful

Congrats to everyone moving along! I am still in 150. Genius confirmed today that production date is still 4/22 which is exactly a week from today. Hopefully I start to see movement tomorrow.

Check again - mine just switched to dispatched from factory. 🙃

Today was the scheduled production date and went through 4-5 statuses today.

I've done some of the fun research yesterday. Where are you taking delivery / which port are you expecting your car to go to?

I'm looking at several departures from Bremerhaven on WW:

April 16 - Grand Sapphire
April 19 - Don Pasquale
April 28 - Themis

And at least one before the end of the month on K-line:

April 30 - Donnington

I'm doing PCD, getting mixed information about which port that would be, either Charleston or Brunswick. I suppose it probably doesn't matter much, assuming most, if not all ships probably stop at both ports. Will know for sure I guess once I'm on a ship.

Awesome - I’m doing PCD as well. Genius told me yesterday that I’m routed to Brunswick - and the paperwork from dealer today also shows SSIPOA for port code, confirming destination of Brunswick.
I think Brunswick is the larger VPC and a better connection to Spartanburg so it may be a default port for PCDs. I don’t mind especially because Brunswick is a stop before Charleston on boat routes.

I've hit the port as well as of this morning, looks like you & I might be travelling on the same ship given that we're both doing PCD!

- 3/28: Production begins, VIN assigned - 150
- 4/11: Exterior body assembly begins - 151
- 4/11: In the paint booth - 152
- 4/12: Entering assembly line - 153
- 4/12: Assembly in progress - 154
- 4/15: Quality Check - 155
- 4/16: Dispatched from factory - 190
- 4/18: At the port - 193

Well folks, I finally hit 150 today with a production date of May 3rd (week 18) and received the VIN as well. I am along for the ride with wk 16 and 17 folks here

Just moved to dispatched from factory! It went from exterior body assembly to dispatched within a matter of 3 days so perhaps most of us will get on the same boat.
