If it does get on the next ship, then you would need to count +/-4 weeks (not sure about the length of the journey, I haven't looked into that).
I long to see that "closed" on my screen... What prod week are you? |

I think he was week 35. I’m week 47 , I hope that doesn’t mean 3 more months until I see the RAM closed.

correct I was week 35 in production. 3 feet of snow out there so it will be going on a lift in my garage but perhaps I should ask for a price reduction when it arrives, maybe throw in a car cover to cover the inconveniences.

I got a memo from BMW Canada on Friday. All 1500 Vehicles (all kinds of different series) that are currently at the port in Germany will be closed by March 20th 2022. This is amazing news. We can all expect an April delivery if we are part of the March batch. A lot of different factors like when is a boat leaving. Check your recall tools and let us know!

Not that I don't trust you, but I'm just curious where/who exactly that memo came from?
It's good news indeed, but I'm having a hard time trusting BMW these days. |

I match this skepticism as well... While I'd love for there to be definitive timelines for delivery I'm not holding my breath.

Oh I get you 100%. This info came from BMW internal. I am also skeptical but makes me feel better to believe this memo. It does make sense as well. I do not think they will be shipping cars one by one. I honestly believe that they will work on a load then ship. Lets see what happens

Checked tool today RAM still open. I hope that memo is true and they will get the RAM installed. 1500 cars could easily fit into 1 ship. As of today until April ships are scheduled for

Update:
My sales manager contacted me yesterday with this update: "I spoke to BMW Canada this morning and things are moving. They have identified your M4 cab as one of the vehicles being retrofitted with their next shipment of RAM modules. I anticipate seeing it here end of March or early April" This seems conservative but at least it's a timeline to work on. I think a lot of ours are going to be on the same boat |
