Closest color to LSB, Pure Blue Uni?

Hello everyone,

Have anyone seen an individual “Pure Blue” in person? I put an order for this color to match my LSB E46 M3 but now think it might be too bright. Would a Violet Blue be a closer color? Thanks.

funny, I was having the same debate this winter haha. I tried to get lsb but it got denied. I finally went for a green/orange combo for the oxford/cinammon.

I've seen violet blue IRL, it's a nice color but no way near the lsb of my e46... very basic color. My favorite blue tone and closer to lsb from my experience IRL on G8X is enzian blue.

I also requested LSB as the color for my G80 and got turned down obviously like everyone else. I think they are saving it for a special edition or something down the line. I wanted a blue and was looking at Pure Blue, Long Beach Blue, and Riviera Blue. They are all great colors and you honestly can't go wrong with any of them. I chose Riviera blue and love it.

A lot of the time they deny people because they've had issues with suppliers. That's a lot of impetus for these "II" and "III" versions of colors. They've switched suppliers or manufacturing methods and attach an iterative number to designate that.

They may just be having issues getting the right materials for LSB specifically until they can create LSB II with a new supplier.

My vote is that BMW is keeping LSB for a special/final edition. It is such an iconic color that they can’t ignore it.

LSB is so unique that I dare say nothing will substitute it.

I haven’t seen many of the blues on offer in person but the closest one looks to be violet blue. LSB changes based on the light and VB looks like it mimics it a bit?
