The M factory is 3 hours drive from where I live, that is why I got it pretty quickly.

They rolled it off the production like, and dude went for a test drive and just drove it to the dealer for you.

It’s definitely nice to be so close. I live in California and my car took about 5 weeks to get to me after it rolled off the factory floor. Built August 24, 2021, delivered October 19th 2021.

Must be your camera... the steering wheel looks way wonky in the pic. Left side is HUGE, right side is squished.

I think a lot of dealers put the incoming cars on their site, as "in transit," as we all know the 2025s, didn't start getting built until March, and for Phoenix/ Tucson, the cars go into Port Hueneme in Oxnard California. My car was on the ship for 29 days, from Bremerhaven.

Then they wait for a transport truck which could take another week. Even if they took it off the ship, and put it right on the truck, it still probably wouldn't be there, yet. The quickest I've seen a car get from Germany to even the east coast, was 64 days. My car, delivered to NorCal, was relatively quick at 97.

Pre LCI Laser headlights ftw. These headlights look worse than the non laser base headlights on the Pre LCI.

From what I can see online, they’ve gotten rid of all the ambient lighting under drivers Airvent and passenger side dash trim, door pockets etc

OP can you confirm

I don't know I'd at least take the LCI headlights over the non-lasers. The base lights on pre-LCI are some of the most uninteresting uninspired looks in the entire car industry.

more importantly than how they look, how are the new headlights with regards to brightness? the BMW lasers are amazing and I hope these are similar as I've kind of committed to a '25 M3 (passed on a couple of '24 allocations)

Mine was built on June 27, 2022 and i took delivery a August 9, 2022.

Jimbo, yes, because Germans can still drive manual transmissions, so, they had no problem getting your car on the ship.
