Testing out x-drive setup on 826m
Today I am going to try and do a little swapping with the factory 826 19/20's.
I am an x-drive. I have some power now and I am spinning the fronts. I currently have 275-35-19 stock ps4s front and 285-30-20 NT555 r2. Well as we know tire sizing for some stickies to get our variance is a hassle without switching rims. Today I am installing 285-35-19 NT555 r2 on the 19 inch front rims. I am actually going to take the 19s and swap them to the rear so I have a bigger sidewall to air down vs the 30 sidewall on the 20". Essentially fitment should look good with the bigger sidewall filling up the rear (I have spacers). Randomly thought to switch the 19s to the rear the other morning so we are going to give it a try. Factory wheels are not too heavy so this might end up being a little trick for drag setup. Or I may sound stupid when you read this lol. Variance is below switching the 19's to the rear. Any input or if anyone has already tried this please let me know. I will update after I have it installed to see if my dash lights up like a Christmas tree lol Size 1Size 2 Diameter 26.7" 26.9" +0.7% Width 11.2" 11.2" 0% Sidewall 3.4" 3.9" +14.7% Circum. 83.9" 84.3" +0.7% Revs/Mile 755 751 -4 |

Worked great. No- x-drive problems and was able to run all 4 Nitto nt555 r2.
Grip was great. I never got to do multiple passes to tell the difference as I had a motiv failure but I will be running this setup daily on the new build. Darrell (s58 is the goat) has also run the same setup, he probably has more data then I could ever give you |
