I was able to get an allocation for an April build 2 days ago for an M4 Comp xDrive.

Submitted my deposit and placed my order 2/27/24

Received a production number and was told that it will most probably be a week 17 build. My status is currently at 111.

I just called bmw genius and they said my car is now schedule to start production on week 13 which would be March 24! That’s an entire month earlier than what was estimated when I ordered the car on 2/27

How long after you guys received the production scheduled notice did your vin number get posted ??

Mine was early also. Initially production was due to start 3/5. My whole process went lighting fast. 2/16 Prod #, 2/20 it went 150 and had a vin right after that.

Correct me if I am wrong but if you opt out of the carbon exterior package your mirrors are black right?

I’m over the carbon phase (except the roof) so I am trying to have just gloss black accents.

The picture on my production right now has the wrong wheel color and wrong calipers which will probably be fixed once I get into production but my mirrors are showing up as Brooklyn grey.

Holy crap yours was bumped up a whole month! I placed my order this past Saturday (3/2) and it's still in "order received" status online. I'm ok with mine staying in week 17 as I have a 911 sale to figure out lol.

We should be close! Ordered last week. In production this week. I’m guessing June, though it seems they’re moving fast!

Planning on picking it up from Spartanburg and doing the driving experience.

I noticed the BMW website has a generic picture that is not accurate (wrong interior and wheel colors, etc.)

Correct - But within the USA, mine will be delivered to Spartanburg for an optional driving experience prior to getting the keys.
