I can finally post in these Week threads! Was originally told Week 10, but spoke to BMW Genius, I'm actually Week 9 (Feb 25. - Mar 02.).

Just received production # from my CA after 35 days of initial contact



Started a timeline to track the order process as this is my first time ordering a vehicle! Build Options below as well. CA told me I have a few days to think on the options until the VIN get assigned.

Build - G80 Base: IOMG, Orbit Grey 825M, Blue Calipers, Tartufo Extended, Alu Trim, Parking Pack, Exec Pack, Icon LED, Extended Shadowline, Ventilated Seats, Drive Recorder.

Options I am debating: Grey 825M vs Bi-Color 826M; Gentleman vs Sporty. I love both, just not a fan of the dark tones of the 826M. I will be mildly lowering the vehicle and adding spacers, and I've seen a few pictures of how the orbit grey looks lowered on IOMG and it looks incredible, but same goes for the 826M. Truly even split of choice and I know I'll be happy with both..just cant decide..


Timeline:
01/02/2024: Contacted CA about vehicle/allocation
01/19/2024: CA Notified that Allocations are limited/hard to get. Will have to wait until Feb/March.
02/02/2024: Allocation received and locked in for my Build!!
02/03/2024: Production # assigned and Build Week Provided (Week 9)


Now the wait (and mod purchases begin!)

I’m not Week 9, but I saw the Corgi profile picture and had to ask if the Corgi approved your build or just gave a judgey face like mine when I talk about cars

HAHA! yea, he might approve for now but if the car ends up with loud burbles and cracks, he won't approve.

1st pic is him in his car seat in my Tesla, 2nd is the face he gives me when my wife is annoying him lol..which is 99% of the time.

Update: Entered 150: Received VIN # & Production Begins!

Timeline:
01/02/2024: Contacted CA about vehicle/allocation

02/03/2024: 87: Production # assigned and Build Week Provided (Week 9)
02/14/2024: 150: Received VIN & Production Begins!

Called BMW Genius yesterday to find out what's going on and was told that there have been glitches in seeing the car go through the steps on mybmw.com..Don't think thats the case, but who knows.

My car's production date of 02/26 would mean car should go into 151/152 by 02/21-02/22. Nothing yesterday, so hoping for movement today.

Is no one else in Week 9?

I thought I was in week 10, but just got off the phone with a genius who gave me the same production date as you, 9/26. I'm still in 150 status but he said the car is still on track to be complete on the 26th

Maybe everyone will suddenly come out of the woodwork - the Week 7 thread had two people and then all of a sudden, there were tons...

Yea, this waiting game is annoying. I mean this is nothing compared to the 4-5 weeks we'll have to wait after production is complete. But I mean, that I expect so won't be so nerve wracking, but I'll calculate that port arrival date and start checking the status again and become impatient again

I’ve been following the ship my car is on using satellite tracking. It does not move quickly

I am 02/26 as well. But I went to status 150 on 02/13; so a day after you. I'm guessing my car will go into 151 tomorrow.

G80 Isle of Mann Green Manual. Full tartufo leather, sunroof, laser lights, parking package, carbon fiber interior, red calipers, and a few other niceties

1/19 found an allocation and placed a deposit
2/13 150 status

I have only purchased a truck organizer LOL. I’m going to leave the car bone stock for quite a long time, I think. I’m still on the fence on things like different grill inserts and whether or not the center console will come with the m3c badge. I want to have the car, complete break in, have some time ripping her around and then see what would be next. I’ve always personally found a higher appreciation for mods once I benchmark the cars looks or performance before a change, if that makes sense.
