Year round summers?
Hey all - just got a new G82 X and wanted to get some opinions on the wheels.
Came with the Pirellis from the factory. I live in wine country in CA so we really don’t get many days <40 and also no snow. I also have a remote job so I don’t have to drive if I don’t want to on a given day (wife also has a X3 that we can drive if need be). Any thoughts on just leaving those tires on year round vs getting all seasons for winter? Coming from a m440 with Pirelli performance runflats that never gave me any issues. |

Welcome to Bimmerpost and the G8X forums! Given your use case, I would say you're OK just running summers all year. Just remember to not drive your M4 at temps below 40F and you'll be good!
Also, you have committed a cardinal sin! You haven't posted pics of the new ride! (But do it in the general discussion if you want to give us the specs etc. or the photo forum if just a photo or two.)

Pirelli’s are doing fine so far in this mild PA winter. Only when it was icy cold and pouring rain did I need to slow down to compensate for sketchy grip.
