Hey everyone, we’re back again with a new product launch!
This is a game-changer for owners looking to lower their cars or fit larger-diameter wheels. A pain point for many BMW G8X owners has been the lack of clearance in the front wheel arches. This has made running lowering springs, coilovers, or aftermarket wheels a lot more difficult as you’re likely to experience a lot of tire rub - especially on full lock. Previously, you either had to do away with the inner arch liner entirely for an aftermarket version. Or, alternatively, mold the arches which is very time-consuming & doesn’t achieve the best results. To solve this problem, we have developed an Enhanced Clearance Front Arch Kit that works with the OEM front arch liners on the BMW G80/G81 M3, G82/G83 M4 and G87 M2. It’s very easy to install - you simply need to cut out the bulky vented cooling section & fit our slimmer design grille with the supplied fittings. The different grille design sits flat behind the arch, taking up far less space whilst still protecting vital components of the cooling system from debris flicked up by your wheels. Our redesigned vent allows for much greater clearance without the need to invest in completely new arch liners. The best part about this solution is the price. It’s only $209.99 or £199.99! We will be making a comprehensive install guide shortly - just in time for when the first batch arrives for delivery in early January. To secure your set, please get in touch or place your order here: https://r44performance.com/products/...wheel-arch-kit Whilst you’re here, we’d just like to wish all of you a great holiday season & a happy new year! |

This is a great idea. Looks easy enough to install and isn't too bad, price-wise.
For anyone potentially on the fence about these: if for some reason you completely screw up your fender liner (which will be quite difficult), and need a new one, new OEM fender liners are less than $80 each (left and right) |

Like the solution. Price seems iffy IMO.
$300 for two laser cut / water jet pieces with a few bends. IDK |

Considering some modified fender liners from IND are $900, I think $300 for this is at least reasonable.
Sure it's just plastic, but the tooling for this costs money, their order quantities probably aren't high enough to get a good scaling cost down out of it, and the target market for this is pretty niche. |

I got an email from them advertising these about an hour ago. I thought they looked great and I was ready to buy and then I saw the price. If they were half that price then maybe I would be in.

You also pay to play. IND may be expensive, but you know you're getting a quality product from them. Sure there's alternatives to everything they sell but they're much higher chance of questionable quality. |

Thank you for all the replies! Feedback is always appreciated as helps us push ourselves.
We’ve just emailed the metal fabricator and paint department to see what can be done to reduce the price. We want to try and make this a cost effective mod that makes life better than that annoying sound on reverse 🙃 Keep the feedback coming! |

I was thinking the same thing. That these were just molded plastic pieces. The price makes more sense seeing as these are metal. However still a tad steep.
Being metal I can imagine they will hold up better than plastic pieces with random road debris.

It looks like a solution similar to the RKP fender clearance. I have been using RKP for years and i have to say, the price on this one is a lot more enticing

This is perfect, order placed! It was hard for me to justify the price of the rkp liners, even thought they are really nice. This is a great middle ground.
