From article:

BMW Japan has unveiled the M3 MT Final Edition, marking the end of an era for manual transmission examples of the model, at least for the Japanese market. Limited to just 150 units for the region, the M3 MT Final Edition stands as a nod to the storied legacy of the BMW M3 series, with a blend of high performance and practicality and dually pays tribute to the 35th anniversary of the M3’s first triumph in the German Touring Car Championship.

The M3 MT Final Edition is distinguished not only by its manual transmission but also by its homage to racing heritage. It features special gold-painted wheels and red accents on the seats, reminiscent of Roberto Lavalier’s winning racer and somewhat similar to the U.S. market CS. As the final manual M3 to roll out, it symbolizes a farewell to a cherished chapter in the automotive brand’s history.

BMW’s M models have always stood at the pinnacle of circuit-ready performance and everyday driving exhilaration. The M3 MT Final Edition echoes this philosophy, offering an M High-Performance (Competiton) model that does not compromise on practicality for day-to-day use. With its right-hand drive configuration and 6-speed manual transmission, it promises a driving experience that’s as thrilling as it is exclusive. It’s also worth noting that the model is available in three different colors, namely “Alpine White” and two metallic options: “Black Sapphire” and “M Brooklyn Gray.”

As the curtain falls on the manual M3, the MT Final Edition serves as a fitting send-off, celebrating decades of engineering excellence and racing heritage. Enthusiasts and collectors interested in landing an allocation are able to apply via a lottery system via BMW Japan’s official site until March 27 — with deliveries expected to follow soon after allocations are announced
