Has your individual color been submitted and approved? I don't think it'll change until that's happened and you have a scheduled build week.

Try giving the genius hotline a call and see if they have an estimated build week for you. Sometimes the website is behind. I just called them this morning for my x7 which has been in “order received” status for about 3 weeks and they gave me an estimated build week of 35.

Genius Hotline? Sorry, it's my first custom order so not familiar with the process.

Don't know if it's been approved, but it's showing up in MyGarage as Order Received. It's just Frozen White, so not a PTS or anything exotic, was hoping it would be a straight forward entry.

FWIW, my '22 G82 was a week 42 (2021) build and I had hoped that I may get lucky and it would arrive around Christmas as well, but you'll have to be super lucky for that to happen (my build got stuck in QC for 4 months before I gave up on it and made a deal on a car that was already in the US). Plan for delays.

Ooof, that doesn't sound too fun. I'm relatively OK driving my current car, will continue to save the difference if it's delayed, so I guess no sweat .. but yea, waiting a full year from putting down a deposit would really be a buzz kill

Local dealer has a skyscraper M3 competition xdrive on the lot, $87k with a $5k mark up. They are giving me $55k on my trade (2018 M3) which gives me roughly $28K in equity. 72 months, 5.4% is roughly $1100 month.

Anyone getting any better finance rates than 5.4?

Did you drive it all the way back from SC to MD, if so, did you do PPF etc? I know Extreme Colors auto spa is affiliated with the SC BMW Perf Center and they would do the work and shuttle you back to Marriot.

I'm actually flying down to Greenville tonight (delivery tomorrow). I'm super excited, obviously.

I've got a reservation with a local PPF shop back at home in a couple of weeks. I'm looking to get windows tinted and a fair amount of PPF, plus ceramic coating all around, that was going to take ECAS 3-4 days, and I didn't want to hang out in Greenville that long (especially without a car). I'll be applying TrakkTape as temporary PPF over the most vulnerable areas for the drive home, which should be sufficient.

People would post leads once in a while and some every ask for finders fee ranging between $500 and $15,000 (yes, thats not a typo) to pass on contact information. Good luck on finding one as people are waiting for months for their allocation.
