HRE R101LW Color Advise

Trying to decide between colors for the HRE R101LW I'm going to order for my Long Beach Blue G80. Vote above. Comment other color options (with photos) -- but I'm def stuck on these wheels! Added photos for reference!

If you want similar style to your 963M wait for BBS FI-R Evo in early 2024

Should be lighter than the R101LW's and made from 7075 alloy.

If not, Brushed Dark Clear would look better.

They have promised these for like 2 years now. I wanted the EVOs first and they STILL can't promise a delivery date. I'm over them. LOL

I have the brushed dark clear and love them. I have also been told many times that the FI-R EVOs would be out by now. They just keep pushing back the dates on those

I actually wanted these for my F80 .. so when I see them IRL in 2026 I can entertain them ;-)

Check out @jeff.m3 on instagram. He has atlantis blue sitting on 20/21 P101SC in brushed dark clear. Looks amazing on his car.

Everyone is probably going to hate me for this, but your car would look so awesome on satin black wheels. Your insane blue color would pop more, and so would the gold calipers you have.

Aside from that, whatever you choose your car is going to look insane. It always does.

My vote with your options is brushed dark clear. Although I like the P104SC instead of the R101LW.

As for the FI-R Evos, I was really considering those too. Would love to see them on your car before I drop $10k+. I'll probably end up with Vossen NF11s.

His car is stunning IRL. He also has 20/21 config.

Yes its gorgeous and yeah i said 20/21 lol. Perfect sizes imho. I have 20/21 classic 300s. Love 21s in the rear.

Clearly I was on another planet. LOL. 21's in the rear are great when you don't deal with NYC roads. I'm not the fortunate. hah

Ahhh true true. 305/25 gives you a decent amount of side wall.
