Your original message with the status change to "In Transit" on March 10 felt somewhat strange to me, as no boats had departed at that time, and the status change usually takes place up to 2 days after the vessel leaves port.

I suggest calling Genius or your SA to check if they can see more info in their system.

That's great luck to be on a vessel after just 2 weeks at port. Some have been waiting longer. My car has been at port for almost 6 weeks now.

Just got off the line with Genius - no update - shocker.

Nice guy but just doesn't have any insight as to what's going on. He mentioned talking with someone last week whose car was moved from one port to another and that's why it was showing in transit and back to port.

Should have called while it was in transit to figure out what boat it was on.

This is frustrating.

Sheesh, 6 weeks at port is no fun. I had no stop sales on my car, so idk if that helped. I got really lucky, walked in to the dealer in January and got a week 6 build and haven't had any major hold ups…..which means I'm due for a hiccup.

That's very lucky!

I ordered in early October, got an allocation on Jan 1, car was produced by Jan 27 and at the port on Feb 2. Everything was smooth in January until this long wait at the port. No stop sales on my car either.

I've read from many people in these threads that their cars have shipped from Zeebrugge. If that's the case you might be in luck. Your car could hop-on during the next day or so. Sirius Highway should dock there soon.

I'm also hoping my car is at Zeebrugge so it can still make it onto Sirius Highway.

I agree it's very frustrating though. Seeing cars built after ours and jumping onto vessels coming to our same port… not much we can do though. Patience.

Just got off the phone with Genius. Mine flipped to In Transit on the 10th and back to At the Port today as well. My car was moved to Zeebrugge and switched back to At the Port when it arrived there. Mine is headed to CA, but this probably the case for you.

I think I just got lucky with the Genius line and was able to get someone who knew what they were talking about. It's hit and miss at times.

Fantastic news Jarmadon! Your M5 should reach Galveston around April 1 or thereabouts. There it'll go into the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) and should be at your dealer within a week or so (if all goes well and also given that you don't currently have any stop sales).

Mine switched to "in transit" Monday morning, and I confirmed with BMW genius I am on the Sirius Highway. Status is still "in transit".
