I have been looking 70mai Dash Cam Omni, still doing research on 360cam. I wonder if anyone has heard of or used this brand.

I have the 70mai a800s, no issues and image quality is amazing. But i like the integration of the fitcamx much better.

Does fitcam have a parking protection option when you are not in the vehicle?

It does have a parking mode according to their site but you'd need to buy a separate cable running to the fusebox.

Just look at your mirror housing and compare it to the one on their site.

Been there done that 😂
It kind of looks like model C is for cars with acc driving assist but if yours looks different when the car arrives for whatever reason don't blame me 😅

It just came in, install was fairly simple after you got the mirror housing off, the wires can be tucked in at the top after you put the plastic pieces together.
Only issue is i'm not getting any audio only static, did some googling and one person needed new firmware and it fixed it, just messaged them on aliexpress.
Connecting to the camera through the app was a bit annoying since android auto kept taking priority, just turn off Bluetooth and it won't reconnect.
Also tried a 256gb micro sd card and it seemed to work and detected my previous files, specs say 128gb max for some reason.
Gotta love the way it blends in, surprised not many dashcam makers offer this type of sleek install.

Hi there
I have bought this camera done everything according to what they said on book connect constant live straight from battery but still struggling with 4G kit to activate it’s hard to communicate with Omni people as they only have live chat or call in service for USA and Canada I’m in uk so it’s emails business. So my question replied in a next day. And they keep posting their uploaded videos on YouTube link to follow. I don’t know what network support in uk. If anyone out there in uk has done installation please help.

It’s a very tight fit and limits your rear view mirror movement a bit but it works for me.

Did you tap your radar into the mirror? This is my only concern as I want to hardwire my Uniden R4 into the mirror but was wondering if it will work with the camera installed.

I have the fitcamx and it’s great. You can’t even tell the camera is there as it looks stock.

Yes. Mirror tap connected to the camera harness. It works great but if I leave my detector on I’ll get a warning to start the car. All 3 of my BMW’s have done this with the dashcam and the radar detector. I just shut off my detector when I get into my garage.

I used to get this warning message as well but I turned off Bluetooth on the FITCAMX and have not received the message since.

I don’t get the error if the Radar Detector is off. I only get it if I leave the detector on. The car shuts off after 6-8 minutes so I’m surprised just that small draw would throw that message.

I have a similar setup with radar detector and found this problem only to occur when BT broadcast was remaining active (streaming dashcam video to phone).
