19" squared OEMs for track duty?
Hi all,
I found a really nicely priced set of pristine 19/20 OEM 926Ms that I'm going to pick up as a set of spare wheels. My question is: would running the 19's in a square setup be a good trackday solution with some cup 2r's or similar on them? I'd run the 20's with PS4s for street duty, which looks to have worked out for others, but have not been able to find anyone thats running the OEM 19's on all 4 corners for trackdays. Winter setup yeah, but nothing performance/track oriented. Any info apprecited, thanks. |

You can run 19s on all four corners. 285/35/19 is a common rotatable setup. Re71s and a few others. I don’t recommend cup2s. They’re overpriced, sticky for a few laps, and drop off fast. And there are faster tires for less money.
You can also run 305/30/19 with some modifications to your suspension. Then you can run super car 3rs. They’re $379 a tire on Amazon and they are excellent tires. |

I am pretty sure that information from the Goodyear web site is incorrect, 9.5” width is min. And max I believe is either 10.5” or 11”.
