18in setups for g80 xdrive
Taking delivery of my car soon, and have started looking for wheel setups.
Why is everyone only running 20in setups? Can the g80 xdrive not run a 18in square setup? If u are running a 18in setup please post pictures |

Almost all 18 inch wheels out there in 5x112 are et35 and higher for a4 and golf. Nothing is even close to et10 or et20 that isn't an extremely heavy stance wheel. Ontop of that most boutique wheel manufacturers focus on 19 inch and up wheels as that's what clients normally want. It's a crapshoot as of now.

I think another part of it is that 18'' in the rear looks awkwardly small due to the size of the car. I'm looking at a set of 19'' squared and still have some worries.

Rather do a 18in square setup with a bigger sidewall tire to fill in the gap but seems as if everyone just runs 20/21 |

I might be interested in doing a 18" setup for my xdrive m4. I live in Canada, and the roads can be quite bad here, having some sidewall would be nice. One option would be the Apex 18x10 wheels listed here. You might need to run a 10mm spacer for inner clearance.
https://www.apexraceparts.com/store/...pra-wheel.html That would probably work for a squared setup running 275/40/18 winters. The other option would be to run two 842M front wheels. Part number 8093830, which is an 18x9.5 ET 20. https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/produ...6-10-8-093-830 255/40/18 or 265/40/18 has some winter tire options. |
