19" square 826M setup - spacers required?

I like a little more rubber between the wheel and road for comfort, thinking of going to a 19" square setup (putting 275/35-19 on the rear to replace the 285/30-20 OEM) on the M4 coupe I just ordered.

Is the decrease in tire width visually noticeable in the wheel well, so I need spacers to account for it? I know this is just a "looks" thing, but I still want the car to look sporty!

Thanks!

Think I read where someone ran a 19”
Squared and did a 15 spacer in the rear

I just put a winter set in the same size with a 10mm for the rears. Looks great and wasn't extremely noticable that it's a narrower 19 vs the 20in. On Stock suspension

Ok, so basically 10mm spacers on the rear to account for the 10mm narrower tire? That makes sense if necessary. How did it look without the spacers, or did you try that?

No idea how it looked before as it was a brand new set of wheels and tires for me and the shop installed everything at once.

The 10mm spacer to account for the narrow tire made perfect logical sense to me but I have no idea if that logical thinking actually checks out factually.

If anyone knows, would love to validate

Putting a set of front 9.5 width wheels on the rear will need 13mm to match the fitment of oem 10.5 width rear’s. Any spacer in the 12-18mm range will work for an oem look.
