1000m wheel configurations

Someone please tell me if I'm being stupid here.

So I'm in love with the 1000m wheels, but some of the things giving me pause about them is that I'd have to get a separate winter wheel+tire setup since nobody makes winter/all season tires in their size (285/30/20 front and 295/25/21 rear). I have a G80 6MT on order.

So I've thought about 3 options:

1) Just powder coat the 826m wheels (the ones I currently have on order) bronze and call it a day

2) If I order the 1000m wheels separately and just order my car with the base 18"/19" wheels, I could purchase and fit all seasons on the base wheels and have summers on the 1000m wheels.

3) Is it possible to order 4 front 1000m wheels and have a box setup? Seems it's the 295/25/21 rears that are causing issues with tire availability. But if I was able to do a 285/30/20 box setup, I could fit both winters/all seasons and summers on them. But not sure if a box setup would cause any issues.

Do they make winter tires in that size? The base wheels are 275/40/18 front and 285/35/19 rear and all I found were summers and all seasons.

I ordered my M4 with 19/20 wheels, used them last summer, put then winter tires on them (same sizes as summer was) and got the 1000M as my new summer setup…

So your option 2 sounds fine to me, but with winter tires

Hmmm...maybe worth checking with Michelin if it is planned or not at all...
Tire performance is really great for a winter tire!

I've looked into this, and the PA5s in 19/20 OEM sizes are not available in the US.

I was able to source a set of PA4s, but I believe these are no longer being made.

With how complicated this is getting (not to mention expensive) I may just go with my original plan to powder coat the 826m wheels bronze and stick some all seasons on them for the winter

There's a few on tirerack.com but the pickings are small.
