I moved into "exterior body assembly begins" (151) early this morning. Just checked again and already "in the paint booth" (152).

I still have a production date of 7/8. Things move quickly once it gets started!

Yup same here departed factory. The real race begins at the Port to see who gets shipped the fastest. I'm already looking at the shipping schedules hoping for an Aug delivery.

Got it. Congrats to you too. Pardon my ignorance here, but what's the outlook like from here on out for us who are "in transit?" Do we keep things here on this thread? Contact Genius to get more details? Head over to another thread? Sorry, I'm new to this game!

Once we get to Port you wont know you're on a ship until like 2 days after it's actually gone. My Garage should update to "In Transit" and you can call Genius to actually find out which ship you are on. Usually someone will make a thread with your ship name so everyone on that boat can track together and stay updated.

Curious, whereabouts in Chicago are you, and who are you buying from? I myself moved from the north side (Roscoe Village) to the northern burbs this past spring. Working w/ Fields BMW.

Considering most of us in Week 27 formerly had 22 allocations, have any of you discussed price protection with your dealer, and if so what was the result? After informing my CA about some receiving price protection, he said the M3 is not a car BMW typically offers price protection for, but the sales manager is checking. Would be cool if we got a 23 for 22 pricing.

Really interested in this, looking to have this conversation with my CA next week. Even if they do not completely honor the 2022 pricing but even meet in the middle I think that would be fair.

I was offered a $1000 discount, even though the base price increase was around $2600, and some of the options seemed to have also increased in price. I guess it was better than nothing. In my case, I specifically did ask once the pricing was leaked and at the time all they could say was that they would help with any difference.

I will reach out to BMW if your vehicle will switch from 105 to 112 status as we have had that happened in the past on some of our orders and your vehicle still has a production# assigned. If in case your get switched to a 2023 model, we will cover the price difference as a price protection for your inconvenience.

I discussed it with my CA. He said they are waiting to see what BMW says. I asked, if BMW doesn't honor the '22 pricing would the dealership. He continued to say it wasn't their fault so probably not. I also asked about the rate since when I locked it was 1.99%. He said he would ask BMWFS.
