Very close to Cookeville. About 30 miles from Cookeville. Crossville is the small little town that I reside in. You drove from Nashville to Knoxville for school? That's about a 3 hour drive no?

Must have been quite some time ago. The Vols have sucked for as long as I can remember.

Is it something that is temporary / can be changed? We all have bad days. I know one guy tried to quit twice at work because he was passed over for making partner about 5 times. Each time his coach and a few other partners managed to convince him to stay (he was a really good asset). Sure enough, he did make partner, but I'm sure it felt to him like it was unfair prior to that.

I wish I could. Even spoke about it to other colleagues, and they didn't even realize the complex situation I'm in where I just can't do anything.

No - it will only get worse. Our chairman described it as "we used to be Seals/Snipers, and we had to become infantry, now we have to become troops". It feels like we're back in basic training and having to wipe the noses of the n00bs. Well, I'm still a sniper. I just want to shoot the dumbfucks.

I can't operate at this slow pace. Something I would have identified, fixed, and rolled into production inside 30 minutes will take at least 30 days now, and I just have to watch production fail in the mean time. I hate it.

I may try to get away for a day or too in the coming weeks - and this will sound terrible - I'm just waiting for at least one of my toys not to be in the shop so I can really enjoy it
