Hey guys, i made the mistake of not getting the exec package not realizing that the laser lights don't come standard! * Anyone have an idea on how much these g80 laser lights will run me? or where i can find them? thank you

Well it depends how much hardware is needed next to the lights itself...

If you also need new ECUs for the light controls and laser system, I think it will be quite expensive...

Not a 1 to 1 comparison, but I once asked my dealer about upgrading from OG M2 lights to the M2C lights...parts needed where lights & ecus then labor and whole reprogramming... back then the quote was around 6-7k...

However, remember, this is Switzerland prices...but in general, such upgrades afterwards are usually quite expensive...

My X7 had one housing go bad, and just the part was $4800

Saw those, just wasn't sure if those are worth the buy since there's no return policy on them, if i knew they'd be compatible with no issues i would definitely grab them

hmmm i see, i know bmw doesn't sell them separately for the g80 just yet so my only option is to wait it out maybe find a crashed one parting out lol 🤞🏽

And I’m sure that’s just parts. Not sure if there is wiring needed like the F8X conversions and I’m sure coding is needed and BMW probably wouldn’t sign up for that process...

Just noticed even though i didn't get the Exec package, the laser lights are standard!! Thankfully 💪🏽
