Question Carbon exterior package aftermarket alternatives

It seems to me that the $4700 price tag for the carbon exterior package is a bit ridiculous. I was wondering if

1) installing aftermarket pieces would void the warranty
2) aftermarket CF parts have the same OEM quality
3) what are some reputable aftermarket CF vendors?
4) how much of a price difference is between OEM and aftermarket CF? (let's say on pieces including in the CF exterior package)

Thanks

I agree 4700 is ridiculous but OEM will cost way more. Not sure if aftermarket manufacture prices are out.

Well prices seems steep first, but checkout the OEM prices for the parts included in the package....as an example, already the carbon intakes are around 2,6k, diffusor 3,7k....(even discount prices)

So if you want good quality & fitment aftermarket CF parts and even lets say they cost 30-40% less...buying every parts that comes with the package may still reach 7,8k and may be not that good....

So IMO, If you only want some CF parts, aftermarket makes sense, if you want all the parts anyway, I think the package is a fair price

Thanks. I wouldn't necessarily quote bmwpartspros as they are just a BMW dealership with dealership-like prices. I did a quick search online but couldn't find many companies that offer these parts. I doubt the combination of these pieces reaches $7k, though. If anything, it should be the same price as OEM. It's worth noting that the installation price is also factored into the $4700 package. I don't know how much it'll cost to install these parts outside. If anyone knows, chime in.

Autocouture has these parts listed on their site: the rear carbon spoiler is $728.00, the rear duffuser is $3227.00, the air inlets in the front are $2434.00. They dont have the mirror covers listed but just those 3 items are over 6400.00 with tax not including labor. $4700.00 seems like a deal to have all that on the car at the time of delivery.

Waiting for aftermarket is not a bad idea. It'll probably cost equal or less, you can buy one piece at a time if you like, and there will probably be more variations and options.

They will certainly come. A bit of patience and I'm sure by late summer a lot of options will be on offer.

I'm sure of that. My questions were regarding other things.
