Stuck in QC purgatory official agony thread

My M3 has been in QC for 8 days, though I have a feeling it may be related to this.

Not me I got iomg…I’m gonna blame the parking package but I have 0 evidence of that…it was unavailable when I initially ordered it and I added it on later though. I’m at 3+ weeks of qc now although two weeks of that have likely been the factory summer break. I was hoping to wake up this morning and finally be out because I think the vacation should be over but I’m still in

Oop! Just went to awaiting carrier assignment within the last hour. Out of QC finally!! 25 days after entering and 2 weeks after holiday break F'd me.

Everyone else should be moving too who was impacted by the holiday break, I think.

Yep - We were the OG's of QC Purgatory... Hoping this helps the guys waiting now - I was in QC for 96 days end of '21 going into '22 - Total of 7 Months of waiting. BMW did step up though and provide me a rental the last 6 weeks of my wait so there's that.

STILL stuck…since 6/3/22!
Some dealers have 2023s shipped.
I think I must've done something REALLY bad to upset the speed gods this way…

how long do you have to be in QC before it's officially QC pergatory? also when you finally get out, is there ever any insight in to what has caused the QC delay for anybody?
