On the exhaust note, when I took Euro Delivery on my C63s I pulled off for gas in southern Sweden and found myself surrounded by 20+ M3/M4s. They were all great people and wanted to hear my engine with the Sport Exhaust option engaged. Exhaust systems like it apparently are not available in Sweden.

In my humble opinion the exhaust on the C63S sounds amazing even at stock. When I took the car in the dealership for a free car wash an E-63S pulled in and I am pretty sure that thing was straight piped. Sounded like the glasses were about to crack.

I agree. C63/s sounds amazing. Hell, I had a 2019 C43 with the sports exhaust and i thought it sounded pretty great! The backfires when downshifting in S+ were so much fun.

In my experience, it has taken less than 5 days every time I've ordered a car. In 2022, who knows? However, the X3 we ordered this year took 6 days (from the time it rolled off the assembly line) to be delivered to AZ from South Carolina, so I don't think there's much of a trucking backlog these days.

Sorry to hear you're still at the beach. I understand you've been hurt before, but that's a lot of boats coming up.
I also believe the factory shutdown for the model year change will halt the flow of new cars to the ports temporarily and maybe the backlog of cars will move through.

Capricornus Leader is about to dock in Bremerhaven, hoping we're all there and get on that ship! It sucks we (and BMW for that matter) have no idea which port we're even at. After that its Oberon in Zeebrugge first then on to Bremerhaven from what I can tell and we may not even know that for sure until Monday.

I was just looking at the schedule for the capricornus.. and it says it leaves sometime this week and will arrive at port Hueneme on July 27th. Is that even possible. I though it took 30 days or more to get to the west coast. Am I missing something ?

It will probably be a few days later than the 27th, but if you look at it's schedule it's making 1 stop in the UK and then steam rolling to the west coast USA.

If we make it on the ship and it does end up getting to port Hueneme on the 31st. We could have our cars first week of august ..!!. Let keep each other updated. The vessel should hit Bremerhaven anytime now. It says July 6th.! Just not sure when it departs.
