When my ship, the Morning Lena stopped there traveling from Bremerhaven it picked up a half dozen cars from my build week so you’re right, there is hope. And congratulations on catching a ride! I believe I told you a month, you did it in two weeks!!

BMW has more than one way to make you wait. Some of us wait at the port, some wait to get to the port, some wait for allocations.
While my car was at the port three days after it was built and on a ship two weeks later, it went from Week 13 to 17 to 26 and ultimately was a Week 24 build.
Either way, I feel fortunate to have made it this far.

Update: Called genius (still showing “at the port” in My Garage) and all they can tell me is the car arrived “at port or compound” on June 25 and she “interprets” this as it is awaiting a vessel, but is unsure.

Yup, same ol song and dance. I think the 23 I have on order (long story) will probably be on a boat before my 22 that has been sitting at port for 2 months lmao. How funny would that be

I was almost (almost) thinking of contacting my CA and asking to put in an order for a ‘23 to see if it would come faster… (although not a fan of that price bump…)

iDrive 8 is a major turn off for me and why I'll stick to my '22.. Although going onto week 8 at the port i'm getting closer and closer to saying screw it and just bailing on the idea of an M3 altogether. It makes no sense why BMW can't get their shit together.

iDrive8 is also a turn off for me. I technically have my lease until November (with my Dealership agreeing to take back my car when the new one comes in), so the wait isn’t horrible for me as I do still have a wonderfully specced F82, but something does feel weird about getting a “new” car that may have been built 4-5 months before pick up…

SaMaster14 petrol_phxz my wonderful sales manager just sent me an official email showing that I would be getting on a ship 7/7 (SaMaster I think you mentioned this?) which is the Capricornus leader, with the voyage number and everything, also saying I'm in Bremerhaven, so I hope the few of us will get lucky

On a seperate note, I saw an identical x3mcomp today, with another female driving it with the license plate "Cheryl" lmao, I need my new car now more urgently then ever 😂

I called Monday and the “Genius” said that my car should be getting on a ship within the next 5-7 days. I called today (5 days), and the Genius on the line could only tell me that my car is “at the port or compound” and had no estimate as to when my car was getting on a ship or even if it was actually at the port of exit or not.

Seems like calling Genius is just like going around in circles. My CA doesn’t have any more transparency, either (and I believe he just doesn’t know…)

Hoping to get on a ship this weekend or join you on the Capricornus Leader! I’m going to text my CA just to see if he (unlikely) has any more info for me.

Something I am missing here. She was in a G82 and you were in a C63s? Is your point that the C63s sounds better (with the Sports Exhaust)? I just stepped out of a C63s to upgrade to a M4Cx.

On the exhaust note, when I took Euro Delivery on my C63s I pulled off for gas in southern Sweden and found myself surrounded by 20+ M3/M4s. They were all great people and wanted to hear my engine with the Sport Exhaust option engaged. Exhaust systems like it apparently are not available in Sweden.
