Corner balancing worth it?

I just picked up my G80 manual with the BMW HAS kit. I may do one or two DE’s per year. Thinking of having max camber added to the OEM suspension and corner balancing done. Is it worth it for every day driving?

No, it might screw up the height of the car if you want it to look a certain way.

Thanks. How about skipping the corner balancing and just adjusting the camber. Is that a noticeable improvement for daily driving?

Suspension and camber adjustments will make absolutely no difference during everyday driving. Except of course if you overdo them. Then you will notice a really negative effect.

Adjusting the suspension of a car is beneficial in only one of two ways:

On a track - It improves the handling in turns, and thus the overall speed of the car. It can also extend the life of the front tires.

Cosmetic - You can change the stance to whatever looks best to you.

Corner balancing is another one of those things that has use only when driving on a track. Even then the average amateur will get no benefit from it except to sooth his OCD. Race teams do it repeatedly throughout the course of a race day because it matters. It is not a one and done thing.

When you alter the height the camber changes so you want to bring it back to stock specs otherwise you'll get uneven tire wear. Unless you want the car to feel more lively but you'll go through more tires.

I appreciate everyone’s input. I think I’ll skip it for now.

The best way to know what the car needs is to post a picture of your tire. If you're killing the outside of the tire before the inside or have the tire rolling over then you need more camber.

If you're running an oem tire they'll most likely overheat and lose traction before this happens. As good as they are, they're 300tw tires.

Look into what toe does to alignment. You can change the character of the car quite a bit to your liking tweaking those.
