Production is complete and I'm headed on a boat for the west coast. Arrival date at Port Hueneme is 11/5 but I've been struck with the RAM stop sale so who knows when I'll actually get to take delivery.

Glad your date hasn't been pushed again so far and here's to hoping this one sticks! Heck, you may still beat me if this RAM module takes as along as it has for some to get fixed.

I was week 40 with black sapphire metallic.

Decided to change to tanzanite blue. Got pushed back to week 43. Then got pushed back to week 45

Figured if I'm getting delayed this much, has to be some reason that makes sense. Went to the dealer and changed color to frozen black. Color was approved today.... No confirmed production date now. I probably caused a much bigger delay, but at least get the color I really wanted from the start, just didn't want to wait initially.

Likely added at a minimum an extra 4 weeks to your wait time.

However, totally worth it to get the color you truly want.

Yea, I figured that might happen... But after they delayed it by 5 weeks for no apperent reason.... Had to do it, so when I get the car, the wait will make sense.

Sounds about right, maybe sooner depending on when you can get an allocation and which side of Canada they are delivering to.

I put my order in June 6th, special order paint, production began early August, and I'm picking her up today. Factor in some other delays right now, 6 months seems like a good guess.

I see that you picked the 826M Black wheels, so when you look at the details of your build on mybmw, does it list the 826M Black. or does it say "Standard AG wheels"

I just put in my order, the order form has the 826M Black wheels listed however the mybmw site only shows it as Standard wheels. Is that normal?

5-6 months sounds about right for an individual build, barring no crazy stop sale delays like some have experienced.

I don't think that site is 100% accurate. As long as your build sheet shows black wheel, I'd think you're good. Could always call your CA and confirm.

I have the stop sale for Radio Module and Cameras that still needs to be done.

I'm eternally thankful for the absurdly slow response times from a specific CA at BMW of Omaha.

On October 4th, I started looking for G80 M3's all over the USA, and I asked that dealerships let me know if they get any allocations for October, since I knew they weren't given out yet. I found an IOMG M3 with a 6 speed on the 6th of October, at BMW of Omaha. They wanted $2k above sticker and I said fine, just give me the numbers. I said I qualify for certain rebates, am willing to put taxes + $x amount down, and want to lease for 3 years 10k miles per year. It took this CA 5 days of going back and forth with me over text/phone calls to get me concrete numbers with all my rebates and what not. On the 11th of October, two hours before I was about to submit the credit app, one of the dealerships near me, with whom I've had no business with prior, called me and said "we have an allocation right now, but you need to move quick and let me know right now before our other store claims it." No markup, no nonsense - I was given it at MSRP. I immediately said yes, gave my credit card number over the phone for a $1k deposit, and had the production number the very next day.

It's going to be a long wait, but I'm excited as hell. I'm quite torn between what aftermarket wheels to get and if I want to go with an aggressive black wheel or a really bright silver to complement the Dakar Yellow paint. Leaning towards silver since I really don't like black wheels.. hmm

As of now no bearing stop sale. Fingers crossed it stays like that. My CA said none of the cars he has coming in right now have it.
