Anyone on bm3 know what you should set your engine rpm (cold start) setting to with upgraded clutch and flywheel in g80?

Leave it where it should be stock unless you have issues with it properly maintaining it for any reason.

That’s wrong. You don’t want a cold start RPM to be that low. It needs to be high and drop down as cold start fueling enrichment slowly backs off. I think you’re misunderstanding what “cold start” really is since there’s a lot of misconception around cold start being just for CAT lightoff and nothing more. Higher initial RPM idle is actually required for all engines as with a dead cold engine, it requires a bit more fueling to get going and not just die out. It’s more streamlined now, but this is the same shit as back in the day when you’d have to start a car and keep the revs up a bit until everything settled into a somewhat stable idle. In todays day and age, it’s not seen much in terms of an issue until you mess with running E all the time and try to start it cold in the winter or as elevations change a lot.

Put that back to OEM, there’s no reason to mess with it.
