G80 in Daytona Beach Blue

Called BMW genius to get my build week (week 14) and had him verify the color he sees on his end. Guess what? Daytona.

So now my CA is trying to confirm the actual color about to be produced. I finally wrapped my head around Voodoo and now more confusion. Can't make it up.

I was originally looking for a light blue which is what lead me to Daytona. But after seeing it in the sun, it looked more turqoise than I was hoping for. Voodoo is a crazy ass color. In garage shots it looks extremely dark, and in the sun it looks like an awesome light blue. I've still yet to see one in person so it'll be a nervous time for me until the car comes if I can't see one before then.

I have a '17 F80 Mexico Blue and 24' G80 Voodoo on order. I'll post pics side by side when the G80 arrives.

Hope to see it soon too. I ended up hearing im locked into voodoo and my car started production this week. I THINK im happy with the outcome but def super interested seeing them side by side in sunlight/shade.

New problem now is Laguna Seca Blue is available for 2025

I had a 23’ Daytona G80 I ordered. Dealer made me a crazy offer when I brought it for 2000km service. I took the money and ran but I was already getting sick of the colour after 6 months.

Everyone is different but you need to be sure when you buy that colour.

As a side note, it took the dealer a year to sell it.

That's what i'm afraid of, but that's why i wrap my car often, which also leads me to think i should go the safer route and go Portimao blue so i dont deal with production time for individual.

Surprised it took a year to sell, but i think that's because you're in Canada idk, but Daytona Blue would sell much faster in America.

Santorini was actually the first color I looked into but seemed a lil too dark for me.

Hey guys wanted to hop on here and add some pics of my 23 Daytona beach blue to help you guys decide.. when I ordered mine I was between voodoo and Daytona as well but ultimately decided on Daytona!

I have voodoo on my g80. I had yas marina blue on my f80, and I really wanted to find a color close to that. I think daytona is closer to yas marina than voodoo, but I love my color. It looks much better in person as well.

Thank you! Yeah I agree both are awesome colors. In the first 2 pics I have the 826m wheels and the last 2 I have the 825m in orbit grey

Never seen Santorini II in person, only in pics/vids, but would love to see how much “darker” than Voodoo.
