This race version is too loud for my liking (My car has all the secondary cats and resonators removed). It has a great tone with solid quality tho.

Nice wheel setup

Mind sharing wheel and tire stats.

That's why it's extremely important to have an experienced reputable shop do your installation. They are more likely to understand the nuances of installation of aftermarket parts. It'll save you time, money and heart ache.

The one negative if any is you'll be spending more on gas because every tunnel or overpass you'll be punching the gas for that sweet exhaust music! 💣🧨

I LOVE my Remus exhaust. So many smiles per gallon.

Had a pretty obnoxious rattle this morning during cold start. Tried to mess around with the exhaust a little but had to get the kids to school. Anyone experienced a rattle so far? It seemed to be coming from one of the exhaust tips but everything also seemed pretty securely tightened. Maybe have been an exhaust flap too I suppose since those are not connected to the valve controllers currently and can freely be moved manually.

For 3 months I was running with the valve controller disconnected since my VSC-2 failed. My rattle was worse since the valves were just sitting their loose. It would rattle when I would take off. I’m guessing you experienced the same.

Up until just this week, there wasn’t any rattling going on and I’ve had the valve controllers removed since the exhaust was installed. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m going to try and mess around with it this weekend if I have the time.

Found the cause of the rattle…have a few small rocks stuck in one of the exhaust tips. Not sure how they worked there way in there but now I’ll need to find a way to get them out as well.

How did you find rocks in your exhaust tips? Seems physically impossible for rocks to get in there unless someone threw them in there.

I was under the rear tapping all over to see if I could pin point the rattle. Narrowed down to the left inner exhaust tip. As I was tapping all around and looking for movement, I noticed some pebbles stuck between the CF cover and the tip itself. No clue how they got kicked up and in there but they are there. In the end not too surprising as there are lots of little rocks and pebbles all over some of the roads here in AZ. #desertlife 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s crazy how these rocks/pebbles make their way into some of the parts. I had a crap ton of pebbles stuck behind my diffuser. Only found out since I was changing the diffuser with a carbon fiber m performance one. Had a bunch behind the front bumper too. Glad you found your issue and able to resolve it.

Agree. I found a bunch when I was putting my front lip on last year.

I also catch a bunch by the m perf fins of the side sills and rear winglets.

Anyone pair the Remus race axel back with stock dps & a single non-resonated mid? Was searching thru and didn’t see that combo.

Currently have a Remus Race + Mad Catted DP + Valvetronic midpipes. Kill me now! It’s unbearably at loud 2-2.5 rpm with drone & vibration. Will swapping midpipes to AA + resonator help or better to go back to stock Midpipes?

I honestly think it has more to do with the axle back muffler. I have the PSI midpipe with the Remus race and I have the same drone at 2k-2.5k. I have a buddy with a G82 that only did the midpipe and he doesn't have the drone, but it still sounds great.

I've really gotten used to the exhaust notes, but I have considered going with the Remus Sport exhaust to reduce the drone.
