I'm new to all this exhaust stuff…what's the point of having the holes to begin with if they end up needing to be capped off?

Those holes are for the euro spec cars, for OPF I guess. Instead of making new pipes just for US they are most likely reusing them. Simple solution is to cap them off. Would be helpful if they shipped out the caps.

I see. Makes sense on the manufacturing end I suppose. Does seem odd though that they just don't put the caps on when packaging them up, especially when doing a large shipment to the US.

Nothing is really surprising in this day and age lately given all the delays, shortages, etc.

Ran into the same issue with the car on the lift for installation. The US issued pipes require a Remus issued plug and they also forgot to include valve springs that work with the exhaust valve controller. I had to slap the stock exhaust back on until the valve springs and plugs arrive next week. I'll keep you posted on installation once I receive them. Such a pain in the ass but I'm hopeful to get what I need asap because the anticipation of my new exhaust sound note is killin' me

Contact the vendor you bought the exhaust from. Last I heard they were on their way. You can have your exhaust installed if the springs don't come in time. They are very easy to install if you're handy with a screw driver. Don't even need to lift the car.

Remus exhaust is installed with stock DP and wow. The exhaust is everything I thought it would be. Keeps the "deep" full exhaust note while highlighting the burbles. You're going to love it!

Yes, initially didn't have valve springs and midpipe plugs. Once I had them in hand the installation was pretty straight forward.

Glad to hear you didn't have any exhaust leak issues like iviegatron did.

I'm waiting on those same parts. Support at Extreme PH were sending a request to Remus on my behalf for them.

Did you verify there were no leaks after install?

You can do it while the car is on the ground too. Start up the car and place your hand underneath the midpipe where it clamps to the other pipes. If you feel air then there is a leak. Also have some one rev the engine while you're feeling for leaks.

Yes, that's correct. The system connects to secondary cat. Keeps the deep aggressive sound note and livens up the existing burbles. I love it so far

No fly by videos just yet but I most definitely will soon.

My HRE wheels get mounted, balanced, on Michelin PS4's, installed and KW HAS suspension gets adjusted if necessary and alignment tomorrow too.

Once all that is done I plan on getting some good footage to share.
