Was told by BMW Genius I am scheduled for WK 46 today! Hopefully there's no delays.

I also was able to order my new M4 Comp without getting on a waitlist. I have ordered my car from Tucson BMW.
I called the BMW Genius on 10/13/22 to confirm the status (112).

My Timeline:
Order Submitted (111): 10/06/22, Allocation & Prod # rec'd
Order Rec'd (112): 10/12/22
Production Started (150): VIN # assigned, 10/20/22
Car build completed (155): 11/04/22 !! <-- Actually on schedule!!

The fact that they got their allocation the day they placed their order means the dealer was likely sitting on it for some time. It was probably already in 112. The individual color probably pushed them back to week 46.

I'm just gonna stick my nose in here. Genius tells me 44, my SA tells me 46. Not sure if my SA called the factory and knows more, but forever waiting.

If you're week 44 you'd probably already be in status 112. Is that what you're seeing?

Time to jump into this thread. I was originally on a waitlist for a RWD Competition but decided I wanted to go with a manual. I paid a small markup to get an immediate allocation on a manual build with another dealer since I was over playing the waiting game.

1. Order placed and allocation received on 9/28/22
2. Confirmed build week 46 with bmw genius this morning.
