Kicking off the Week 20 build thread (Week of May 15).

I'll go first

Build:
- G82 Comp xDrive - Brooklyn Grey over Tartufo
- Executive Package
- Parking Assistance Package
- Driving Assistance Package
- 19"/20" 826M bi-color wheels
- Carbon Fiber trim
- Icon Adaptive LED w/Laserlight
- Ventilated seats

History: Week 12 -> Week 20 (found out about the delay a few days ago)
Status Code: 111

Week 8>18>19 and also currently status 111 here. I watch threads for weeks 8/9/10 as well as ones close to my current week 19 to get a bigger picture.

I was 112 (originally Wk 11) from 2/17 until 3/4; then reverted back to 111 and build changed to a week 18 start date or completion date (I'm getting two different answers from CA and Genius on this data).

It appears 112 status is an automatic change based on schedule; many of the week 11 builds all changed from 111 to 112 at the same time. 111 means nothing; 112 means nothing. I won't feel too confident until I receive a VIN and then hope to not have a stop sale or two after build.

Found a new allocation in late January. It was for a week 8 build and the car was in status 111. Upon entering my desired options it immediately flipped to status 112.

In mid February, along with pretty much everybody in week 8, I was bumped back to status 105 and no build week even assigned. Like most, a few days later I was back in status 111. Of all the members I recognize that were previously in build week 8, we all got different build weeks (17, 18>19 here, and 21). We are all apparently still currently in status 111.

What is galling is that all the week 9, 10, and even 12 builds I see were not effected similarly and many are now at status 150 or even better.

Just curious cuz I have seen some people got from 112 to 150 in a week. I was 12 then told 14 but i've been 112 for about 10 days now

I came to crash the party, was week 12 at 112 for while, got knocked down back to 111 and now I am told week 20.

My CA, whom I am very impressed with and I have met my share of bozos, told me to finalize my options ASAP once we hit status 112 because it can go to 150 "overnight" and I would be SOL if I wanted any changes once in status 150.

That advice seems to be supported by a lot of threads here.

I am in the same boat as many of you. I was week 12 and then got pushed out to week 20.

Checking the status today and saw this disclaimer. I was aware of the shortages, but have never seen this message before.

I have the same message…it appears they updated the website…my log in screen has a different look. Hopefully it's just a generic statement, but who f-ing knows. I guess time will tell. I'm not too optimistic about things.

Started out week 7, then moved to week 10-112, then week 14, back to week 12-111 and now week 20-111. I may call my CA, the geniuses seem to give me the worst case scenario’s while my CA tells me what I want to hear! My only solace (besides this page) is that I just went through this with my M440x, waited 8 1/2 months for it only to discover three months into ownership that I wanted to go back to a convertible. I had a M240x convertible. 1st world issues for sure.

Week 12 to 20 here. Seems to be the Carbon Buckets that have screwed us. Wonder what the next part shortage will be over the next 8 weeks and where we'll get moved to next!

It is really odd how they are selecting which cars are being produced. I received my allocation mid January and had a week 11 and then the plant closed for a week and I was pushed to week 18 (unsure of start or completion; two different answers from CA and Genius). I don't think the carbon buckets are the only thing delaying builds as I don't have them on my build.

I had my order Aug 2021, Allocation received Oct 9th and have moved between 105, 111, 112 many times. Still waiting for a VIN.
45-->47-->49-->50-->1-->4-->8-->11-->???

I don't understand the algorithm used to pick which cars get built.

I feel like M4 production delay is worse than M3... Not sure if it relates to the different factories for M3 and M4.
