I was scheduled for week 46 build. My original order for a 2021 was submitted back in March but BMWNA denied my Individual color selection (due to being late in the model year) so my order got rolled into a 2022.

Not sure if that is software or a part but if it says open it has not been resolved. With that said, the VPC's are often slow to update and, as such, it may reflect open for a bit even if closed.

RAM closed today on my car and should be headed to Dealership in the next day or two.

I just purchased a car that has the same exact stop sale. It has been at the port since December 7th with an open work order. My guess is that it might be a part, not just update. Can't imagine an update take longer then a month.

That's what the genius said to me, I just can't imagine it being a part. That's is what's used for over the air updates.

The RAM issue still isn't cleared on my M3. I've been at Baltimore since 10/26.

You can search my prior posts to see how I've tried every avenue to get some clarity on the resolution of the issue to no avail. My new year's resolution was to only check this board and Alex's recall tool once a week (instead of the multiple times daily that I previously was doing), which has significantly improved my daily happiness.

Good luck to all and I'll definitely post when mine is cleared.

Here from the G20 3 series thread.

I with my CA this afternoon about the status of my car at the Baltimore port. He had sent an email out to the folks there CC-ing big wigs from BMW North America and got a response back pretty quick after that.

He told me they got a shipment of 3-series (which I presume is the same in the M3) RAM in this week and will be starting to finally clear those stop sales. Told me my car should be cleared early next week and hopefully at the dealer by the end of next week.

He's been a great resource and has been transparent and forthcoming throughout this whole process so I have no reason to doubt what he's telling me. Hoping it's all true and we start seeing some cars heading to dealerships for delivery here in the next week.

I’m not positive but I believe there are several different types of RAM and amplifiers. Standard, Harmon Kardon, and the B&O. So 3 series may only pertain to the standard system.
