Thanks.
VIM refers to USB and Miracast streams.
Is this of actual use to anyone without an android device though? I coded this but haven't been able to get any use since iPhones don't support miracast. Any workarounds out there?

I sure hope bimmercode figures out a way to do seat roll back when the power is shut off. I miss that feature! I'm putting unnecessary wear and tear on my bolsters.

USB video does not use a phone. For casting, you must have supporting Android phone or jailbroken IOS device.

What exactly is USB video? Sorry for the rudimentary question.

Gotcha. Welp that's lame lol. I wonder if there's a usb device out there that you can mirror your phone the usb, then plug that in… wishful thinking I'm sure.

I never had an issue with it. I do not keep media (other than photos) on phone.

If you want to use phone, options are Miracast or USB.

Don't we have to car settings for each key?

Anyway to code "reduce mode" for Road instrument panel setup. This option is available in all G series non M models.

I tried to code it using the G20 logic but no success.

I've "coded" this by setting memory 2 as a second seat position. Annoying but necessary

That's what I do. But I was asking about any new coding features in general.

I'm just doing the memory seat thing but that would be nice.

Thanks. Tried those steps but doesn't work on G80 cars. Only option is to put it in M Mode for a reduced view
