When my son was learning how to drive, I gave him two lots of half hour stints behind the wheel. In the first, he learnt how to pull out of a park, how to turn right and left, how to pull into a park. In the second, he learnt how to do a U-turn, how to reverse into a park, and how to reverse around a corner.

I also gave him the three golden rules of driving:

Know your limits,
Know your car's limits, and
Know your environment.

That was it.

Aww so nice to see your son enjoying the M dirivning course and also love that blue m color you own. Your CS is a future classic. In even think the original 128i manual from 2008. This RWD, performance oriented cars keep us in the brand. We run x5’s as kid movers- but I’d love to go back to a daily driver stick bmw. If it’s even possible at this point.

This is very telling of the market perception of BMW’s M strategy for what should be the halo M car. Probably the only limited edition cars being released that are not fetching a premium. Heck barely even msrp. I hope they are looking and listening.

What has arrived is neither the car I wanted, nor that which I ordered.

If I take the car and sell it because it's not what I wanted, frankly, it's nobody's business why I sold it other than mine.

The seller is just as entitled to try to squeeze as much profit from a flip as we are to complain about him doing so. Even if he sold it for a profit, I doubt anyone here cares that he made money. Moreso, that he took a car away from an enthusiast to make a buck.

In Australia

M3CS = AUD$249K
Add M4CSL style laser tail light and not lid = AUD$37,500
Add CCB (which M4CSL Congress with standard) AUD$17,600

Total in Australia before on-road costs:

M4CSL = AUD$303,700
M3CS+ = AUD$304,100

M3CS+ means the M3CS plus all the above

That’s literally what happened in my area. Dude “forgot” about his other allocation that finally came through so he sold his loaded M3 to the dealer with 47 miles on it. It’s now marked up over 100k.
