Hey all - looking to buy a Nuna Pipa URBN for my daughter (coming in September). Has anyone had experience with this in a M4? Dimensions indicate it should fit just fine, but curious if anyone had real world experience.

With or with out the base and stabilizer arm? With someone sitting in the passenger seat? Or with the seat up all the way?

Thanks for catching my mistake. I meant to say the URBN which is baseless. Just latches into the LATCH anchors. But usually just with me on my own with her (we’ll probably take my wife’s x3 if all of us are driving)

I have 3 kids under 3 so have some experience in this area!!

I would say it would fit but I would highly recommend a seat that has the isofix base. That way you can put the baby in to the car seat in the house and have the belts adjusted correctly and just click the car seat in/lift it out easily.

The baby’s always fall asleep in the car, and they will stay asleep if you just carry the seat inside the house, and leave them in the seat. If you take the baby out of the seat it’ll wake up …

I had the Nuna pipa lite I think it was called, with the Iso fix base in the back of my G80

Might be time to think about trading the M4 for an M3. Easy Access to Back seats are nice to have with kids

Congrats!

+ 1 for the base. I think that’s an absolute must with a newborn. Barry’s advice should be considered expert level with 3 under 3.

I had the Bugaboo Turtle by Nuna and the Bugaboo Fox stroller. They’re both compatible with each other. I now have the Nuna Rava now that my daughter is a little bigger.

Congrats on the daughter and rest up!

Agree with the others on the advice to get one with a base. Many times where my daughters would fall asleep in the car and we could just click out of the base and carry them back into the house while they were sleeping to let them get a bit more nap time in the car seat.

Agree. This is the best setup no matter what seat you end up with. I would not ever do it any other way.

M3 base here so not sure how much help I'll be, but the Pipa with the base fit great in my car. Have now moved on to the Rava rear facing which also fits great. Only issue is the tilt seems a bit more than I'd like, but still measures up fine and safe.

I now have the Pipa rear facing behind the passenger seat for my 11 month old and the Graco Slim Fit behind my seat for my 3 year old.
