Anyone have any answers on this? I see the below on my front and back respectively. Don't see any blue blocks but not sure if the white one is also a shipping block? Assuming the brown ones are normal parts of the suspension.

First photo is the rear and second is the front.
Here are some better pictures. Shipping blocks are removable. If there is no split in the collar, it's not a shipping block. Just based on looking at yours, it looks like they've been removed. Your white plastic collar, doesn't appear to be removable.
Thank you, that's how I feel as well but I can't pull the boot that much without lifting the car. I think the white plastic I'm seeing is what is at the bottom of your last photo, just not sure if there could blocks above it like your last photo is showing.

Do you have any photos of the wheel gap in the front before the blocks were removed? I can fit three fingers between the wheel and the front fender which I think is normal height.

The last white bottom plastic piece is part of the strut assembly. I don't have a pic of before and after. I didn't pick up my car until the day after it was delivered to the dealer. The PDi had already been done by the time I got there. This is with blocks removed, about 21 miles on the car.

It's like doing the dishes. If you walk past the sink and close your eyes there are no dishes to do. It's obvious the full inspection before hitting the road was not done.

They Got me too!

I noticed the difference as soon as I left the dealership this weekend.

Kept telling myself "There's no way my old F82 drives better than the new one?? The suspension just needs to settle".

But I looked underneath when I got home and saw the dreaded shipping/transportation blocks.

Dealers having me drive this bubbly bouncy G82 M4 back in tomorrow morning to ACTUALLY preform the pre-delivery inspection.

Their response? They apologized and are filling up my gas tank...

3/36,000 mile maintenance as well (58k km). Oil changes and cabin air filter, and whatever else is needed. Run in service also free.

I didn't discover mine until 5000 miles. I heard a weird rattling noise from the car and when I demanded the dealership look at it, they did say the VPC people didn't take it off. Also my advisor told me that I wouldn't even notice it and let me tell you, my back thank me for them finally removing it. Makes a world of a difference.

Does anyone know for sure if transport blocks are supposed to be removed at the VPC or instead during PDI at the dealership? Every thread I’ve seen with transport blocks mistakenly left on has people ragging on the dealerships as the responsible party.

Dealer is suppose to remove them during PDI before delivery. OPs dealer might be trying to wash off their hands and point finger elsewhere.

Mine came off at PDi. The service tech zip-tied them all together, and put them in a ziploc, and into the trunk.

That’s what I call service. Nice move, leaving no doubt. Especially if you’re a little paranoid after reading through the forums hah.

I told the CA that. I said, "well, that takes the guesswork out of checking to see if they were removed."
