What did you do to your M3/M4 today?

Yesterday I finally had some time to just go drive. I went west and took her partway up a mountain and then came back down. Traffic was pretty heavy but not slow for most of the trip, I got to enjoy a few runs to "driving in Mexico"-range speeds in passing lanes. My trip average was 53MPH including the time to get out of the city and then tooling around town a bit on the way back. I'm really happy with the base seats at this point, and I had a fantastic time.

Absolutely loving this car.

I'm coming from an M2C with it's very-not-low-seating-position...so, yep.

But. I'm not fanatic about sitting low in any car. The important thing is position. Arms to steering wheel and gear shift. Visibility. Feet to all three pedals. Back at the correct angle. Etc...

In fact the reason I ask is because of M2C. I always felt like I was riding on top of it rather than in it. As long as the seat goes lower, I'll be satisfied. For spirited driving, I do raise it to see better but for daily I prefer having an in cabin feel.

I certainly got used to the M2C seating position, but the M3 doesn't have the issue.

Installed bms clutch stop to my G80-6MT today. Best $10 mod you can make on a manual. Clutch engagement is perfect now! Ceramic coating and tint next week. Tested parking assistance today. Did pretty damn good!

filled up for the 2nd time, so 3rd tank overall for the car and its only got 700km on the odo lol... trip computer said last tank avg'd 16L/100km or less than US 15mpg

I know the feeling...gas mileage is terrible.

i think its just not meant to be fuel efficient when engine is in sport or sport+ lol

just tried driving a stretch of highway, city, and bit of bumper to bumper traffic in all efficient/comfort everything and with the self-driving turned on. Averaged 9.3L/100km or ~25 US mpg (~30 UK mpg)

also have to say that the self driving tech works quite well, true hands off driving in heavy traffic!

Advanced driver assist package ..believe it's called "driving assistant professional package " in the US but the content is the same .. if the car has that off centered radar sensor in the lower grill then it's equipped.

Man ive been patiently waiting and bmw genius said that the vessel should arrive 4/5/2021. Im in long island, NY. How long do you guys think itll be untill i can go and pick it up? Im really hoping it will be by the end of this week.

Just had Bahamut freshly washed and waxed, as well as tinted all around. Kept it light because I didn't want to hide the silverstone interior. The bicolor wheels really shine when they're clean!
