I have blue considered individual and also dravit considered individual. Both say something like potential 4-12 week delay on the configurator I believe. CA had to request BMW for fjord, only then they put it on. So it’s possible I got lucky with a shorter extension but make sure you have your CA request bmw for it, or else they most likely won’t be able to put it on.

Yes, not exactly an individual request. However, in my case, it was blocked off for my CA. But he stated he will submit the request to bmw to open it up. It’s supposed to be open but I think they had it blocked so the CA would know to let the customer know there can be a delay with the choice? Not sure exactly why but he did say on his side it was blocked and he put in full black. Then the next morning he called and updated me saying the fjord was now on my build.

To further explain. This was only an issue AFTER I received my allocation. So I was following it from black to blue on the my garage website. Before then, fjord was on ther just fine (status 047 I believe for order bank)

Unfortunately my dealer got 26 cars and 0 of them were M allocations. Very disappointed since I was planning an Individual order and March 23rd is the cutoff for MY23 G80 in terms of approval for Individual cars. I am quite sure that now I will be waiting months for MY24 allocations to start rolling in if I want to stick with my Individual spec.

Its going to be hard to predict a timeline as every build might face different production and logistic delays, even though things have got a lot better now. Below thread has some real time breakdown from fellow members.

I am at about the same place and I am thinking it will be late May or early June to schedule to go to the PCD for delivery based off of other timelines.

Is this also true for orders that don't include individual options? I am expecting an allocation for a standard option build in the next month or so and I was expecting it would be for a '24, but wasn't sure.

Yes. After an allocation is received, your dealer would submit another request for the individual option to be included to that specific build.
