G83 convertible top auto up/down coding

The U.S. owners manual states that the roof can be opened/closed using a brief pull/push (just like the windows). I can't get it to work. My theory is that it's possible, but disabled for the U.S. and nobody thought to tell the technical writers to not put it in the manual.

So….anyone know if this is code-able?

If you have time, that would be great. There are a few of us interested in this.

It appears I do not have the mapping for CVM2.

Stock/uncoded: Auto up/down is only available when using the wind deflector and while moving at least 4 mph (if you slow below 4 mph or stop, the operation will stop and you have to hold the button to complete as normal). Page 105 & 106 of the manual.

I cheated this by 3D printing an insert that hits the switches making the car think that the deflector is in. Still dumb that the car has to be moving.

Would be super nice if that could be coded out too.

Sell? Haa - sure, it's like two cents worth of plastic. I'll mail you some if you want.
