The ADM discussion is a joke.

The F82 M4 GTS sat on dealer lots forever before getting sold. Some were sold below MSRP. (I own two.)

At this price point, anyone who pays an ADM is a fool.

That said, I'm bored with this car. I want to want it, but it needs a flashy color option.

Well of corse it is, it's RWD.
No one cares about how a car steers or feels, 0-60 time is all that matters. The Model S Plaid is the best car ever made.

No it's not a GT4 RS
Just wait until the dealers get them in.

Those dealers should look at CNBC.com right now. No one is going to be buying cars to flip for a quick buck anymore.

The GTS sat on lots because it was not very well received at the time. This is a different car. It's also a very different car market. People are paying ADMs on Kia rotboxes.

These will snapped up by speculators and collectors based on the name badge alone. There will be sub 500 cars in the US.

I agree and my mindset is the same going forward but todays market is not the market of that time period.

GTS did sit for months on the lot and there was nothing special about it versus my previously owned F82 LCI , especially when I had every flash from the GTS on it.

But given todays market circumstances , these allocations will be all spoken for by next week lol and you won't see any on the lot.

The traditional nurburgring lap time for the M4 CSL is actually 7:15.677 and the new time is 7:20.207. So the time that compares to the GT4 RS's time of 7:04.511 is 7:15.677.

I just did..curious what the ordering options will be. There are color options and possibly an option to delete the graphics.

Suspension bits are different, additional front camber, solid ball joints, and different struts.

I agree. You would think this car would be quicker than the Vette 10 years later.🤷🏽*♂️🤣. I couldn't give a shit about lap times at any track cause no one can drive that good anyway. That's all for manufacture bragging rights. Tires make a huge difference also when it comes to tracks. I like real would 0-60 , 1/4 mile and 60-120. This is definitely not the car for that. But hey, congrats BMW. Go out there and smoke those old ass Vette's on the track😂

It would be interesting to see what time an M4CX can do on PSC2 R or Trofeo R. May cut the distance to the CSL in half where the $140k seems a bit excessive from a performance point of view. Something seems a bit off with this time, I would not be surprised if we’ll see a few seconds faster times as time goes.

It’s no doubt a looker though with many cool details so I’m sure it will sell in today’s market. And with ICEs coming to an end this could remain the fastest ICE era BMW until the end of days. Likely enough to make it a classic in any case.

We’ll, the hommage should beat it good, MT and all but with 50 units who cares

After all the excitement, 7:20 is very meh. Figure a 7:25 for the sport auto lap, nothing to write home about. Just my cinicism showing.

That's generous of him if they can even get one. I think 1000 units worldwide will most likely keep some dealers from even getting one.

This is true, you’d have to look apples to apples.

7:04 vs 7:15

Or

7:09 vs 7:20
