Money doesn't buy brains.

Buying a fast car doesn't mean you know how to drive it.

We will wait to hear the details on this accident, but how many times have we seen these "kids" (by maturity, not necessarily age) drive like idiots right after they buy a BMW and put everyone else at risk while perpetuating the stereotype that BMW drivers are asses?

Sorry but not surprised at all, big RWD car with big power along with a stupid drift analyzer, aimed & marketed to a young, new, inexperienced demographic that aren't interested in driving dynamics = a recipe for disaster. Just wait 3 years when these are relatively cheap & more readily available to the masses.
In OZ for years we have had big, cheap, shit, V8 Fords & V8 Holdens that appeal to a certain demographic (ie kids, rednecks & amateurs), who just love to get hold of them & subsequently crash them at an astonishing rate.
The important question is did the G80 have Carbon buckets ? & if so some smart M2 owner needs to get hold of them for retrofit.

I think this is exactly why the drift analyzer will magically disappear some day via a "mandatory" software update.

That escalated quickly. Hope the drivers are okay. M cars may not be Ferraris but they pack quite the punch.

Not a fan of gap insurance but if they didn't have it not sure what will hurt more, loss of the car or making payments on that mangled mess.

We can't blame this on a drift analyzer any more than we can blame 1.5 psi. This was just somebody with too much car and not enough experience.

Idk I was 0.69 psi off once and spun out 420 degrees.

Stay safe y’all and make sure those tire pressures are exact

Lol you better believe it my good friend. English rednecks though, basically that's what stock Australia was founded on.

You think a decade from now when EV's rule the street ppl will look at the M drift analyzer akin to that of the Porsche over rev?

"Tastefully modified G80 for sale. Clean ECU with no 5 star drifts recorded"
